Chimeo community tourism

TOUR REVIEW:

On this tour we visit the community of Chimeo, distant about 12 km from the city of Villa Montes on the north road. Here we will enjoy the warmth and hospitality of the community members of Guaraní origin. We will be able to get to know and enjoy the delicious local cuisine both for breakfast and lunch. We will also learn about its culture, tradition and customs, and we will visit some viewpoints and a green museum. And we said goodbye to the community with a beautiful dance to the beat of Guaraní music.

ITINERARY

We leave for the community of Chimeo at 8:30 am from the center of the city of Villa Montes (Plaza 24 de Julio), welcome and ancestral Guarani breakfast by the community. Then we shared a little of their music, then we headed to the viewpoint of the cross, where there they explained the origin of the cross to us, we took the opportunity to take some beautiful photographs of the landscape and the Guaraní women dressed in their typical costumes. Then we visited some artisans where they presented us with the beautiful and exotic crafts they make. Later we also visited the Green Museum that is within the community, there we can learn more about its culture, tradition and customs.

Next, we went to lunch with a delicious typical meal from the Guaraní area. And then we say goodbye with a little more music and dance. Return to the city of Villa Montes.
